Studying

Academic Writing — working through a professional course at the Open University on writing clearly and with structure. It turns out that saying what you mean precisely is harder than it looks.

AI & Ethics — taking the Elements of AI and AI Ethics courses via MOOC.fi. More courses in this area will follow. The questions here feel important and genuinely unresolved, which is exactly why they’re worth sitting with.

Writing

A few papers taking shape on topics that keep pulling at my attention — the relationship between music and technology, the ethics of AI, and what it means to search for meaning online. Nothing ready to share yet, but the thinking is underway.

A handful of longer writing projects are also in progress, covering ground from empathy and identity to Dutch folklore to what music is actually for. These move slowly and that’s fine.

Music

Working on new material under the name Cobold Chrysalis. A few directions at once — some of it melodic, some of it more experimental. Nothing released yet from this current period, but it’s moving.
